Appearance: Oily liquid faint pleasant aromatic odor.

Boiling Point: 323 ºC

Melting Point: 21 ºC

Solubility: Almost insoluble in water; soluble in alcohol, & acetone.

 Conform to BP93 & USP XXIII.

 

Handling:

 Wear appropriate NIOSH / MSHA approved respirator, chemical resistance gloves. safety goggles, other protective clothing. Do not breath vapor, do not get in eye, on skin, on clothing.

 

Health Hazards:

 Harmful if swallowed, inhaled or absorbed through skin. Causes eye & skin irritation.

 

First Aid: 

In case of eye contact, wash with  plenty of water for 15 min. In case of skin contact, wash with soap and plenty of water. In case of inhalation, remove to  fresh air.

 

Packing: 

200 kg plastic drum.

 

Storage: 

In tightly closed container, in a dry and cool place.

 

Decomposition Predicts:

 Toxic fumes of CO.
